Pavilion depth at girdle minima

Pavilion height at girdle minima

The pavilion depth at girdle minima is measured using lower girdle facets. It is measured for each lower girdle facet and then the average, minimum, maximum and deviation values are calculated. The software finds the lowest vertex of the whole model (it is one the vertices of the culet or pavilion) and the highest vertex of each lower girdle facet. The depth between the found vertices is considered to be the pavilion depth at girdle minima for the given lower girdle facet, as shown on the figure below.
