previous   top   next Checking accuracy of constructing a model Visual checking To make visual checking switch on camera and compare live image of stone from camera with its 3d model: Press button If scene remains black press button It switch off black colour of screen Tune lighting to see crystal in scanner well Check comparison of model with real stone: Rotate the stone by rotating buttons in panel Motor with some defined step in degree Stone and crystal should compare well from all directions of view If it is not compare well check gluing of stone and scan it again. If problem remains call to service center.   Checking by weigh To make checking by weight: Make sure the plane of holder is set correctly Switch on Tool by button on top frame of Scene Roll over cursor on the stone's model and see its weight in left top corner of Scene (ct) Compare real and calculated weight of stone. Difference should not be significant: ~0.02 ct for 1 ct of stone for shadow model. For example, a normal deviation should be about 0.2 ct if weight of stone 10 ct   previous   top   next
