Preparation a stone before set into scanner
1. Look on the stone carefully. Select a direction for gluing the crystal on holder:
- Inclusions of crystal should be seen good in the selected direction
- Glued stone should not be out of scanner's field of observation
Note. It is better if lower crystal's facet for gluing will be flat.
2. In some cases for better observing of inclusions inside the crystal
addition windows are made
3. Clean the stone by acetone or spirit carefully.
4. Choose a suitable holder for stone.
The Helium Rough system supplied with several types of holders: holders without hole for gluing and holders with holes for working with pomp.
Attention! For working with M-Box system the stone must be glued on holder.
5. Set a holder with stone inside scanner and close cover.
